Today we’re going to talk about handling objections. We all get objections in our business, right? One of the ways that you can get really prepared to deal with objections when they come up is to create, what I call, an objections library.
An objections library is a list of all the objections that you hear over and over again in your business and then you write down how you would respond to them. So, when you get a concern or objection when you’re speaking to a prospective client, you won’t be shaken, thrown off guard, or get nervous. You’ll be really confident and really grounded because you’re really well prepared.
Many entrepreneurs I talk to tell me, when they get objections, they get so nervous and they don’t know what to say. That doesn’t come across really well to your prospective client.
The more prepared you are, the more confident you’ll be, the more professional you’ll appear, and they’re going to think: “Wow! This person really has their act together. They really are confident about what they offer. They really believe in what they do. They know that they’re going to get results for me.” It’s really important to prepare.
